I Don’t Have Any Classified Documents At Home. My Life Is A Failure.

Lately, I keep reading about all the classified documents people have in their homes. First Trump. Then Biden. Now Pence has classified documents at his Indiana retreat. It’s got me questioning why I don’t have any classified documents in my house? What’s wrong with me? Aren’t I good enough to have a few super secret secrets in my garage?

And then I thought, ‘Maybe I do have classified documents in my house and I just don’t know it.’ So I spent a few precious mental minutes going through all the documents I have in my head to determine if any of them could be considered classified.

My mortgage? Probably not.

My explanation of benefits from my health care provider? Nah. Although they do come with so many extra sheets of paper to explain my benefits in 60 different languages that it seems like it should be classified.

My AAA magazine? Again no but there are fascinating articles on the number of people who get flat tires every year in America.

The truth is, I don’t have that many print documents in general. Most stuff is sent digitally these days right? Which makes me wonder, are all these classified documents the only copies of these documents or are they all backed up somewhere in giant military cloud in the sky? Is there one old ex-marine whose sole job it is to remember all the passwords?

Much like not having a Tesla or a Mexican vacation spot, the media has made me feel like if I don’t have any classified documents in my house, I’m a loser. Well I’m not buying it. I may not have any classified documents yet, but I’m only 52. I’ve still got plenty of time to get this right.

Other Things On My Mind:

  • The stock market finally had a nice week and some of the red numbers are getting very close to becoming green numbers on my stock chart. There’s still a long way to go but maybe there’s a little light at the end of the recession tunnel?
  • I’m taking a two team 7 point tease with the 49ers and the Bengals and hoping for close games this weekend.
  • Thinking about taking the Clippers season win total over 42.5 because this is the last chance for Kawhi and PG to make something of themselves and make their mothers’ proud.
  • Also love Shai G-A for Most Improved Player of the Year at even odds.
  • I didn’t want to go see The Fabelmans but I’m glad I did. Really enjoyed it.

The End.
